Austie is one of TruPath’s most tenured employees. A creative at heart, she formerly worked at a photography studio and also attended school to be a hair stylist. She found out about TruPath on a whim. Her sister had been recruited to another company through TruPath, and found out that they were looking for a receptionist. Austie decided to give it a shot, and got the job! She's now been here for over six years.
One of the best parts of working for a small company is the ability to cross-train and learn different responsibilities. Being a front desk receptionist takes a lot of organization and attention to detail. Those exact things have been key contributors to Austie's growth at TruPath. She’s now in charge of payroll, workers' compensation, benefits, and assists with accounting.
TruPath has been an important part of Austie's career development. But there are other reasons why she sticks around.
“The culture and family-like environment are my favorite parts of working here,” Austie says. “Everyone gets along really well, and we have a lot of fun joking around together.”
Austie truly is the backbone of TruPath. She still greets the door and handles all new employee paperwork. All the while, she makes sure “we stay in compliance with all of the rules and laws regarding updating tax forms, I9s, health insurance…” the list goes on.
When she isn’t busy staying on top of labor laws, Austie enjoys working freelance as a makeup artist and spends as much time as she can with her family.
